2018年5月14日,北美精算师协会(SOA)致函，确认我院正式获得了由SOA授予的“Centersof Actuarial Excellence”(CAE)认证。至此，我校成为大陆高校中第一所、也是目前唯一一所获得CAE殊荣的高校。
CAE的认证，是对精算项目师资水平、教学质量、科研水平、生源质量、培养过程、就业情况、校友反馈等多方面全方位的衡量和评价，需要经过申请，审查，现场评估（site visit）等一系列的考察环节。我院经过2年多的准备和努力，今天正式获得了CAE的认证，这标志着我们的精算教育水平已经进入国际先进行列，是我校国际化建设和“双一流”建设的一项重要成果。
SOA对我校精算项目的评价：
“The CEC was impressed with the integration of business andcommunication courses in the program, as well as the focus on English languagepreparation. It is clear that the graduates of the program are well preparedfor work as actuaries through the extensive connections CUFE has built withindustry. The internship programs available, as well as the focus on teamwork at CUFE, have likely had a strong impact on student readiness. We alsonote the very strong faculty engaged in the program, with many activelypublishing actuarial research. We were also pleased to see that even theundergraduate students have many opportunities to be involved in research.”
