演讲人：
Jane became President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in June 2011. Jane was an examiner for many years and from 2002 to 2004 and was the first lady Chairman of the Board of Examiners. She is a member of Council and until recently chaired the Qualifications Executive Committee. She is now a member of the Professional Regulation Executive Committee.
She has spent all her working life at Aon Hewitt (previously Bacon & Woodrow) in a variety of roles. She is currently Principal Consultant within Hewitt’s retirement practice -advising trustees of UK pension schemes on a broad range of issues and is at her best helping them to reach the right funding solution for their scheme.
Away from the office, Jane likes to spend time with her husband (who is also an actuary) and her two energetic children.
Derek Cribb was appointed as Chief Executive of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in December 2011.He was already acting chief executive of the professional body, having joined in May 2010.
Mr Cribb is a Chartered Accountant and he has broad experience, having carried out a range of strategy, operations, and financial roles. He has worked in a wide variety of businesses in the commercial and not for profit sectors, including professional and financial services and outsourcing. His previous positions have included Interim Chief Operating Officer of the Pension Protection Fund, Interim Finance and Operations Director of Navigant Consulting Inc and Chief Financial Officer, UK Customers and Products of Barclays plc.
Trevor Watkins is Director of Education (since 2005) at The Actuarial Profession which covers the qualification process of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. He is an economist by training with a PhD in Industrial Economics from Manchester University and has worked at a number of Universities including Nottingham (Department of Industrial Economics) and Oxford Brookes (Head of Business School). Professor Watkins has written and edited a number of books on marketing and economics and published widely on the marketing of financial services. He has been a consultant on projects for a number of blue chip companies including BAT, Abbey Life, Del Monte, Munich Reinsurance and Banco Continental (Peru).
He has also been interviewed by the media on financial services marketing and has appeared on BBC1, BBC2, BBC24 hours, Sky TV, Simply Money (digital), Silicon.com (Internet TV) and on BBC Radio 4, 5, IRN and local radio.
